MCP DigLab connects your AI application to the business tools approved for your organisation. You use one assigned MCP connection to discover available tools and carry out the work included in your setup.
This help center covers managed connections and customer-owned installations. With managed onboarding, DigLab prepares your connection and gives you the details needed by your AI application. A customer-owned installation can also include administration access on the customer's server. Your tools and responsibilities depend on the agreed setup.

What you receive#
Your onboarding handoff identifies your organisation, the assigned endpoint, the supported AI application, the authentication method, the approved services and the first task to test. Any credential is delivered through the agreed secure channel.
The MCP connection is used inside your AI application. A separate administrator dashboard account is not required for the standard managed service. A customer-owned installation has its own administrator setup and maintenance responsibilities.
What the connection can do#
An enabled tool might retrieve a record, search an approved source, prepare a draft or perform an authorised update. Availability depends on the upstream service, your account permissions and the tools included in your connection. Example workflows in these docs are illustrations; they do not add services to your account.
Your first successful outcome#
You should be able to connect, see only the tools assigned to you, run one harmless read-only task and recognise the result. A connected badge alone does not prove that the correct business account is being used. Continue with the quick start to check both.
